Man, I hope he gets an awesome cake wherever the hell he is in the world now. I think I remember reading he wasn’t huge on cake though. I distinctly remember an article involving him and some old lady who made chocolate cake so epic that even Nick Cave would shove it gleefully in his face–that was the implication, anyway. You know. Chocolate cake even a skinny “gloomy” dude is all about.

Thanks for posting the explanation, Deb. Yes, Nick’s gorgeousness knocked me out and my computer crashed over him. AGAIN. Not only do we need to make sure our health insurance is paid up, we need to buy coverage for our motherboards and hard drives!
Last night, aside from a recurrence of Mad Cow, I had too many things going on. Downloads were finishing, stray cats were running through the house. One came upstairs, couldn’t find her way down, then panicked and tried to throw herself out my bedroom window. Meanwhile, the Boys Next Door were coming to dinner and I’m trying to get into the shower but kept tripping over my roommate’s junk (which is bloody everywhere).
My poor little computer was quite fussy. I was lucky to get anything up before she crashed. Nick always fries her circuitry at the worst times. She seems to be purring today, however. I didn’t have her running all last night so she had a nice rest.
Is anyone having trouble viewing the video clip? I can’t see it at all. Adobe Flash problems again. SIGH. Looks like I’m in for a Charley Brown kinda day. (Good grief!)
